Graduated in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Araraquara (FCFAr–UNESP, Brazil), she earned her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from São Paulo State University (UNESP), with an emphasis in Pharmacology, where her research focused on the neural control of stress-induced cardiovascular alterations. She is currently a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences, investigating the impact of biopsychosocial characteristics and health-related anxiety on cyberchondria, as well as their associations with cardiovascular markers and neural characteristics. She is a member of the Laboratory of Statistics and Validation (LEV) (2014–present) and the Research Group on Analysis and Metric Validation (UNESP).
